About Us
When Thali:Thali opened in 2003, it was our mission to provide a superior indian dining experience by offering dishes which were more focussed on rich flavours than hot spices, set against the contemporary background of a modern restaurant.
Our head chef, Vikrant Sood, has honed his cooking skills by working in the Oberois, a prestigious group of hotels in Soth East Asia.
We have chosen a number of tantalizing dishes from different regions of India which offer a greater range of authentic cuisine than traditional Indian restaurants, including our now famous Thalis. A thali is a stainless steel or elaborately decorated gold or silver tray with several small pots or "katoris" filled with small individual samples of food chosen from different regions of India.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week and we offer a free home delivery service within a 4 mile radius. If you are looking for a great alternative venue for a party, birthday or engagement party, we will be happy to cater for your requirements.
For those dining before 7pm, we have a pre-theatre menu where you can enjoy a three course meal at a very special price.
